We just completed an installation of an ethanol fireplace yesterday.  It is through fire with an AFIRE BX1200 burner.

The fireplace is made of 304 Stainless steel 2mm thick and 6mm toughened safety glass.  Its 1550mm wide and 630mm high.  The cost of this unit installed is around $8,000.  Using different burner option can reduce the price drastically.  As we were using such an expensive  burner we raised it 25mm to show it off.
